Hellcats is the story of college students trying to make it to the cheering competitions State Finals. The tv series is an American cheerleading comedy-drama series for The CW starring Alyson Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones and Mall Barr. The series is based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick.
